I’m Dr Mobolanle Bello, a dedicated and innovative professional with over 15 years of experience in web development, research, and education. With a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence, I specialise in creating impactful digital solutions and contributing to the academic and technological communities.
My Journey
From my early days as a web developer to my current role as a Computer Science Lecturer, my journey has been one of continuous learning and growth. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Wolverhampton, UK and a MSc in Computer Science from Birmingham City University, UK; both of which have fuelled my drive for innovation and research.
What I Do
Higher Education & Teaching : As a Computer Science Lecturer, I combine academic expertise with industry experience to deliver engaging, practical, and research-informed learning. I teach across a range of computing disciplines, helping students develop the technical, analytical, and professional skills needed to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Software & Web Development : I design and develop scalable software solutions, websites, and web applications that address real-world challenges. My work spans bespoke business systems, e-learning platforms, e-commerce solutions, database-driven applications, and modern web technologies, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and maintainability.
Artificial Intelligence & Data Science : I apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics techniques to solve complex problems and uncover actionable insights. My interests include predictive modelling, intelligent systems, data-driven decision making, and the practical application of emerging AI technologies in education and industry.
Research & Innovation : My research explores areas including artificial intelligence, machine learning, network optimisation, data science, and emerging digital technologies. Through academic research and industry collaboration, I contribute to advancing knowledge while identifying practical solutions to contemporary technological challenges.
Database Management & Digital Business : I have extensive experience in database design, management, and optimisation, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable data solutions. I also specialise in e-business and digital transformation, helping organisations leverage technology to improve processes, enhance customer experiences, and create sustainable competitive advantages.
